Mission: Ground the tech. elevate the brand.
ForeFlight came to us mid-rebrand with a clear goal: create content that evoked emotion for flight and their general aviation lifestyle through a new visual language. Their past content leaned more towards the corporate end and landed flat and soul-less. They needed a new direction; Something more cinematic, something more human.
We licensed select aerials from our existing library and then built a lean one-day shoot, flying between Pitt Meadows and Tofino. It was designed to capture both the product in use as well as the beauty and freedom of general aviation.

THE PRODUCTION: ONE DAY, FULL FLIGHT PLAN.
In a single shoot day, we captured five core storylines:
Hangar interiors – preflight planning & walk-arounds. silhouette heavy
Product in use – intuitive, seamless, hands-on shots of the software being used
In-flight lifestyle – In cockpit shots demonstrating how the software fits into your normal flow
Exterior lifestyle – golden hour walk-ups, ramp energy, human emotion
Environmental context – West Coast backdrops with soul
We kept things fast, flexible, and focused—crafting a visual tone that balanced the feeling of GA along with the Foreflight product as an essential tool.
Additionally, we licensed a handful of existing footage from our camera plane and its patent pending mount as well as other specialized equipment to round out the visual storylines.
Rolling shots – U-Crane camera car shots of taxi and takeoff
Drone shots – Take offs and landings
Air to Air – Plane to plane aerials featuring our picture plane

THE RESULT: CINEMATIC, SCALABLE & CLEARED FOR TAKEOFF.
The final library gave ForeFlight a full set of assets to power their rebrand—hero visuals for web, lifestyle reels for social, and product cutdowns for campaigns.
More than just content, we delivered a new visual language for ForeFlight—one that makes you feel why pilots trust them from pre-flight through landing.
